Ok so yesterday was quite productive and I have again popped into Leigh’ office for the morning with a view of achieving the following;

I am going to continue with the tutorials and update my profile page

I will create an account on slide share.net and upload chainsaw presentation.

I will try to finish breaking large power point on chainsaws into mini power points for resource pages and create labels

I will upload some images to flickr and place on my blog and change the title page images in our wikis

This will all make sense and and be as easy as tying my shoe the more I do it but interesting to note I had never heard of a wiki,flckr,blog…it is exciting and daunting all at the same time in that i am really comfortable with the units to be flexied but all dis new.

Ok so I am updating my blog after a wee bit of neglect.Since Leigh and I have set this up I have received and signed my contract for 300 hrs of work on the development of flexible delivery for select horticulture units,attended a meeting with Leigh and other OP staff involved in flexi del,and here and there have snatched time to work on activities for the chainsaw units.I have contacted Stihl to see if we can use some of their resources and the reply has been favourable!I have also contacted the DBG in regard to a unit on maintaining hand-tools and requested that i be allowed to photograph their hand-tools and maybe get some plant collection curators to talk about tool care.

Today I am working at F block in Leigh’ office so I can get a good few hours done on the chainsaw units.Leigh suggested me coming over after he has experienced first hand the number of interruptions I experience in my office at L block.It is a lovely calm atmosphere amongst 4 other people with a gentle soundtrack of whirring hard drives and keyboard tappin.
